At Kaus we decided to make a handmade cotton re-useable facemask. We wished to reduce the carbon footprint on the world, and by doing this we produced a re-useable, washable mask that can be worn numerous times instead of wearing once and throwing away. Our masks are fun, lightweight and fashionable to wear whilst you are on your hospital visits or out and about.

The mask is made of three layers of 100% cotton fabric. It then has a little pocket on the inside in which you can slot a filter into. The mask comes with two filters. The filters are an activated carbon filter efficient filtration which means it can block up to 95% of 0.3 micron particles and PM2.5. The filter has 5 layers in them and are super lightweight and thin. The filters can be worn for 7 times until it needs to be thrown away. The mask can also be worn without the filter having two layers of fabric can help protect from air born pathogens, exposure to dust, pollen, mould, and pet dander. The inside layer is solid black. The mask is fitted with a chin panel and nose pleat so its contoured and a comfortable fit. It has comfortable elastic looped sides that go over your ears for comfort and can be knotted to shorten if need be.

The print is a modern spot print in black and white.

Please ensure to wash the mask first before wear. Do not wash the filter.
